Last week, Brittany and I threw a baby shower for our friend Heidi (with the help of lots of friends). We had a sit down dinner for 32 people. That's a lot, but, Boy! do i love big parties.
Some of my favorite things from the party-
-the invites (which I don't have a pic of) and....
-all of the other beautiful things (labels, menus, posters, etc.) Brittany designed and printed with her computer. oh to be good at graphic design.....
-the tomato basil bisque served as guest arrived in my glass tea cups without spoons
-the fact that I randomly own a piece of white fabric long enough to cover 4 of those 6-ft plastic tables (which i borrowed, along with chairs from a few neighbors)
-the candles we glue gunned into some random little chandelier that Heidi had and that we managed to hang above the table
-the look of one LONG table...16 places per side...I'm Going to keep repeating this look I'm sure
-the hot pink hydrangeas Katrina cut from her in-laws house
-the black and white striped napkins that Brit and I made-I cut, she sewed
-walking around with Brittany, pouring tea for the guest while they watch Heids open her gifts
-the BEST ever party favors...brass necklaces from Heidi's new necklace line (from her company True Birds) that came in cute little gold boxes
-Brittany's out-of-control dessert table with millions of little dessert that she MADE
-the ever glowing miss Heidi
