our really good friends from NY came to visit last week. I've started to feel like we are a record on repeat when it comes to company.....pool, beach, bar-BQ, La Jolla, fire with S'mores, Wahoo's, washers, the snake, repeat the next weekend with different house guests. The best part is, it is all the stuff we love to do and would be doing with or without a crowd in tow. And how much more fun is everything with friends.
-going on a 6 miles run with Nichole from Torrey Pines beach to the end of Del Mar beach...part of it on the packed sand and part of it on the cliffs above.
-ditching the kids for double date in Hillcrest at Cocina Urbana...i really like that place.
-lots of online "shopping" with Nic, who brought me up-to-date on all the latest trends she's seeing in NY-clothing and decor-wise (she's a personal shopper and is a such a wealth of knowledge)
-getting movie candy and watching the premier of 9 by Design-season 2 (now called something else..I was a little underwhelmed unfortunately).
Hope this trip becomes a summer tradition!
