he loves books soooo much that when he was little (1 1/2ish), I hid all the kid books up in a high cupboard. this sounds so awful looking back. He didn't ever look at books on his own back then. we had to read to him ALL day. he would just bring them to us and make them read them to him right then....whether you were in the shower, had raw chicken in your hands, or had just sat down for a quiet moment. I read him TONS of books, but i liked it to be on my own time.
ok, i'll stop justifying...... what an awful mom i was to hide the baby books from my baby.
