In April, before "gray may" and "june gloom" hit the shoreline, we got to spend a bunch of time down at the beach with lots of cousins and mamie and papa. The coast has been experiencing unusaul high amounts of pelicans this spring. We would sit on the beach, watching 40 or so pelicans fly south, as 40 or so flew north, occasionally hitting each other, or at least the air around each other. It was pretty exciting to watch until some of us got pooped on.
My kids built up a nice base tans and took all of their meals, with their cousins, by the pool. Ann always spoils them all, making them chocolate fondue for dessert one night. And Papa takes them in hot tub at the slightest show of a shiver.
