a very Maui Christmas tale

This is a LOT of pictures. It's hard to not take a million pictures when there are such beautiful backgrounds. Our trip to Hawaii was amazing. There really is something magical about that place (the warm air and the warm water??) We had a perfect mix of beach time-with a little pool and a lot of hot tub time thrown in- and adventures.  And the best part, FAMILY. It was so fun to get to see everyone and for my boys to get to spend 2 weeks with their cousins.
 We LOVE our cousins!
 Playing telephone

Our first stop on the "road to Hana". The kids loved this.
Craig, Josh & Ben on their last trip to Hawaii together.

LOTS of lounging at the beach

Making sure he got in his daily dose of Angey Birds

 Laurie's beautiful picture

Hiking to the blow hole and other adventures on Christmas Day
Craig standing in the spray....a little bit before he and Park had a real scare in the swim holes

 At a Luau Christmas night
All the boy cousins except baby Jonathon.

 The master hula dancer

I think half the stage was filled with Romney grandkids when the kids were up learning the hula

Getting ready to head to sea for our whale watching adventure
We saw SO many whales...not just on the boat that day, but from our porch and the beach all the time.
Very cool. The kids loved diving down a few feet in the water with Mamie and listening to them sing.

Our hike to the "Four Falls" on the road to Hana. The bamboo forest we hike through was so different than anything I've ever seen.
His 4th Pina Colada of the day

Notice parker in his green tube riding the waves behind us.
He never really got into the boogie boards, but sure loved his tube. Nick and Joe, on the other hand, spent up to 8 hours a day on those boogie boards.

 New Years Eve

Thank you Mamie and Papa for such an amazing trip!!
