Does it still count as decorating for christmas if I haven't use any decorations out of my Christmas boxes yet?
I'm dying to put everything up, but I'm doing it gradually in the hopes that Craig won't notice I started decorating mid-November. :)
Remember all that Red and white ikea fabic? Well it has been put to good use up my banister. What I really want is garland, but I thought I'd wait till January and get it on sale for next year since I need so much. I may just use real pine garland this year... I've heard it's really inexpensive and makes the house smell amazing. Just not so fun after the first week as it starts to dry out and shed all over.
The felt letters all over my family room were-of course- a Brittany project that she had spotted somewhere. We cut out the felt letters last march! But I just sewed them on the bakers twine last week. They went straight from the sewing machine to the ceiling.
Can't wait to get the rest up.....
