a few facts about miles......
-he has watched "Tarzan" at least 30 times in the last 3 weeks-no exaggeration (the second it ends he begs "adin. adin." I promise I don't always give in.
-he has listened to "Bear Necessities" and "Akuna Mutata" no less than 150 each over the past month. If you think that seems impossible, just figure we spend 40 minutes in the car every day with those 2 songs on repeat, add in our 12-hr road trip, and that 150 number seems low. He has every single word to each song memorized and starts singing one every time he "holds" a baby. Poor Parker. The other morning I dropped Miles to Laurie's house on the way to take P to preschool, and the second he was gone Parker asked if we could listen to ANYTHING besides those 2 songs. and he had never even mentioned that it bugged him before that day. Maybe he had the same realization as me, that as annoying as the songs get, it is way better than the alternative of the persistent begging for them to come on.
-Miles has been talking a ton lately. It makes life easier and also pretty funny.
some common phrases...
"I do it!"
"I hungee" (hungry)
"Go way mom" (when I find him in the pantry with a stool or when I over snuggle him).
"parker do it" -when there is a big mess
"tiny baby one" or sometimes "little tiny baby one" when he's talking about anything small....a little scribble mark he put on his paper, an ant, a scratch he gave his brother or his argument when asking for another treat
"huhh?" just his go to phrase
"Isome?" Can I have some? said in one breath if he happens to notice you with gum in your mouth or soda or candy. he has definitely asked complete strangers for some of their soda
-His hair is so long right now (I was letting it grow out for his Nacho look). It is sooo curly that it just grows straight out around the sides and back, but the top is really fine and stick straight. Think Bozo the clown. Craig keeps threatening to buzz it all off if I don't trim it soon. but those curls are pretty amazing.
He is my baby boy and I love him.
