End of Summer!!

Today is the last day of summer. Tomorrow I send my children back to school with mixed feelings. Mostly, I don't want them to go. I like them with me at all times. Except when they fight with each other. And except when they are disobedient. And except when they choose to play iPad over summer homework (or even swimming!!). I guess it may be time to go back to school. I've spent the last few days overhauling their closets, dressers and rooms. Ellie was my best helper. 

I also took the boys to an indoor trampoline park today. Miles just did flips into the foam pit and Parker just played dodgeball with the big kids. Yesterday they went with Rachel to see Planes at the theater and we had a huge back to school picnic, ice cream social and capture the flag last night with all the neighborhood Mormon families in The hood in our common space. 

One thing about it- these boys have had about the best summer possible. They have played and played, swam and swam, traveled, surfed and snuck in lots if video games. I thought we would have to lay low and not do much this summer because of those new little people in our family. Ha! I don't think they slowed us down for a minute.  I'm ready for my summer vacation!

And me.... Just finally finished Parker's dresser-even layed out his clothes for his first day tomorrow then collapsed on his bed for at least a minute of peace. Till nap time ends and I get to snuggled them....
