Along with the rest of the country, we have been having really cold weather for us for this time if year. Now I realize that highs in the 50s probably sounds good to UT residents, but after over a week of that weather, we were due for some warmth.
Today was in the mid 70s and no school for 4 day weekend so we headed to the beach. Our last 10 beach days were in sweatshirts so we really appreciated today. We took cousins callen and tanner along and craig worked from the beach house, joining us every so often (I think he only really came down to play with Pancho on the beach- Pancho sprints around like a crazy person the whole convinced he is dead and this is heaven).
Don't let the boys fool you about the water- it was beyond freezing but they kept boogie boarding anyhow. All day I kept thinking -this is the reason we live in San Diego. I'm never moving.
