Craig convinced me to take "the horse that Charlie" (our snake) to Parker's class when he had show and tell the other day. The kids all DIED over it, they were so excited. And Parker...he was so proud to stand up front and pull the snake out of its cage (good thing-since I won't touch it) and tell the kids all about it. But he was even prouder to show off how his little brother loved the snake and wanted miles to show how he walks around the house with it around his neck. You should have heard the instant and simultaneous laughter out of 23 kindergarteners when miles did this. They thought it was the craziest thing they've ever seen. (no one but me seemed to notice that miles, who was there with me half the day to volunteer, didn't have shoes with him and is wearing P's sweatshirt-who is his mom?). Later, Parker walked around with the snake to let the kids pet him and most of them did.
