There is a slide, a swing and 2 playrooms in our house, and yet, miles chooses to spend half of his day in the pantry.... Rearanging my canned goods (or sticking his arm in the granola bar bin- above). I recently added a eye-and-hook lock to the pantry door, but I never remember to lock it.
The stool that he us standing on lives in the corner of the kitchen and has been the best and worst addition to the kitchen. It's like an old library stool-rolls when you push it, doesn't move when there is any weight on it. Perfect for little helper chefs, bad for curious, independent little monkeys.
if you don't have a kitchen stool you love, this one is great. Find it here-at DWR. I got mine on clearance a few months ago, then it disappeared from their website for awhile, and now it's back in the sale section. Maybe if you wait it will go back on clearance??
