In brooklyn, with the city behind us (the red & green blur is Empire State Bldg), under the lights of the Brklyn Bridge. Having their nightly sprint after eating Grimaldi's pizza.

This is what happens when you go a few days without seeing another adult....you button your shirt one button hole off, and not only do you not notice, you don't even care. makes me feel better that P's shirt is tucked into his underwear.

These pics in brooklyn where taken after a full day of city life. First, we went for a morning walk in Riverside Park. Then we shopped our way down broadway. stopping in American Appearal (the source of the purple P shirt), Urban, kid shoe store, Duane Reade and 2 boutiques. Then home (davis and Mel's apt-they were in UT the whole week) for lunch and naps. From there, we headed to Times Square for the Matinee of Mary Poppins. 2 things on that. 1-TKTS seems way easier than it used to be. Ten minutes before the show, i got 2 $40 tickets. No line, and they even take credit cards now. 2- Two years old is not old enough to sit through a Broadway show. Lots of candy was involved in the 2nd half to keep the peace in our corner of the theatre.

after the show we took a rickshaw taxi home, which we all loved-so fun to get to look up and everywhere as we got carted around. I guess that is what it feels like all the time to be the boys, cause we changed into our swimsuits and I piled them in the double stroller (that I borrowed the day i got to town) and we (I) ran up to the central park pool for a little swim. (in a HUGE pool that is an ice skating rink in the winter).

Running back home through the park that evening was pretty perfect. I probably could have called it a day at this point, but instead, we changed and I piled the boys in the car to drive downtown, across the bridge to get some amazing pizza-that i'm sure they didn't even apprieate. But man, was i ever starving!

and that was just one day of our trip!
